Weed Eater Will Not Start

Your weed eater will not start, and you have determined you have gas. Unfortunately, even a string trimmer of a well-known brand may sometimes malfunction and refuse to start. Instead of getting frustrated when that happens, check the trimmer for several common problems that can keep it from functioning as it should.

  1. Locate the spark plug wire, then disconnect  it.

2. Using a spark plug wrench, remove the spare plug.
